POSITION OVERVIEW: Reports to the Program Director. Responsible for implementation of the CIS Model at the assigned school.Initial Implementation Role (Apr–Jun 2024): Collaborate with Program Director to conduct Needs Assessments (NA) and Support Plans (SP) for new CIS partner schools (4 schools in Benton Harbor). Build relationships with district staff and principals; regular travel to sites; detailed writeups of findings into templates and data system; strong organization, communication, and writing required; training provided. Also support design/implementation of Tier I supports (Apr–Sep 2024). Beyond Sep 2024, responsible for implementing the CIS Model at assigned school.QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in education programs/school settings and/or working with children/adolescents; commitment to educational equity; adaptability; excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills; strong relationship-building; ability to work with CIS and district/school staff, students, and families.Build and Maintain Effective Relationships: Develop relationships with school staff, parents, volunteers, and partners; provide orientation/training; complete annual Needs Assessment and School Support Plan; launch School Support Team; organize family engagement and student activities; collaborate to re-engage students; communicate effectively (e.g., Restorative Practices).Coordinate Needed Services & Provide Case Management: Design/implement/partner to coordinate supports (Tier I/II/III); broker resources with Program Director; provide case management (academics, basic needs, behavior, CCR, physical/mental health, social/life skills); monitor ABCs and SEL; advocate for access; refer to outside agencies; maintain secure case files.Collect, Report, and Analyze Data: Enter data and complete monthly/quarterly/annual reports in CISDM; use data to adjust plans; evaluate effectiveness; create midyear/end-of-year reports.Implementation: Support programming in new schools (NA/SP); provide initial Tier I supports.WORKING CONDITIONS: Full-time, in-person presence in assigned school and other district sites; reliable transportation; consistent attendance; ability to meet deadlines.SALARY AND BENEFITS: Mileage reimbursement (IRS rate); $30/month cell phone reimbursement; employee health insurance 100% covered, options for dependents, opt-out stipend; access to vision, dental, life; employer-paid STD and access to LTD; 401k match up to 3.5%; school holidays and July off; one sick day/month.
