Position Summary
We believe brand is not just how we look or sound, it is trust, credibility, and belief. The Digital Media / Content Strategist is how new audiences discover that belief: through a website, inbox, and feeds that meet people where they are and move them from awareness to action. Reporting to the Chief Brand and Growth Officer, this role owns CIS's digital ecosystem as one integrated engine for awareness, engagement, and growth; thinking in channels and funnels, not siloed platforms.

The Digital Media / Content Strategist will:

Own CIS's digital ecosystem: website, email, social, paid, and search, as an integrated audience-growth engine

Move new audiences from awareness to engagement to action (donate, volunteer, advocate)

Turn CIS's exceptional but under-told story into visible, discoverable content

Use analytics to show what's working across channels, not just platform by platform

The Digital Leader We're Looking For

Channel-agnostic and funnel-minded, not platform-siloed

Roughly 60% strategist, 40% hands-on maker

Data-literate: comfortable with analytics, testing, and reporting

Curious, current, and highly responsive

Collaborative and audience-obsessed

You believe the best mission in the room should never be the best-kept secret.

Segment audiences and personalize outreach

Run targeted, budget-conscious paid campaigns (social, search) around key revenue and awareness moments

A/B test, measure, and iterate
